The writer is a lecturer, researcher and consultant of Mechanical Vibrations & Acoustics Research Group at one of technical university in Malaysia. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with Master Engineering (Mechanical) in 2008. After his first degree in 2005, he worked at Perodua Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd (PMSB) for about 1 year as Production Engineer. His responsibilities included production monitoring, trainer for Toyota Production Strategy (TPS), lead the department’s quality control program and leader for repair zone in Paint Shop Department, PMSB. He has shown vast interest in Mechanical Vibration, Noise and Acoustics, Signal Analysis, Machine Condition Monitoring and Non Destructive Testing (Acoustic Emission Technique) research area.
He actively involved in teaching and learning, EAC accreditation for Mechanical program and research activities at his university. Currently, he continue study to PhD level at University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba Campus, Queensland, Australia. His PhD is about the high frequency Acoutic Emission signature identification of composite micro-failure.
